Hey I'm currently looking for a video format i can convert my videos to that will play on all 4 formats. Kinda tired of having 2 different folders with the same files encoded in them. Basically i have my ps3 and my 360 hooked up to my home network media sharing. And naturally i have and ipod and a psp for my files on the go. I would appreciate any suggestions on format and program i can use. Most of the files i have now are xvid and mpeg 4 right now. Thanx.

You don't want to do that.
h264/aac in .mp4 container would be the common format, but ipod only supports the "baseline" AVC level which is pretty shabby quality. If you used that on the PS3/XBOX360 you'd be severely impairing the potential quality -
Not to worried about quality as wierd as that sounds i only have a 24" sd tv thats hooked up to my ps3 and my 360 i just don't wanna keep burning dvd's for something i just wanna watch real quick and im tired of having 2 folders with the same stuff in them on my computer when i could just have them in one format. What do you mean mp4 container??
