Hi, using my HD PVR I can successfully record HD content and transcode it to MPEG2 (uses mencoder). The video is watchable but its very jerky.
My suspicion is that the .TS file is encoded at 59.97fps and transcoded to 30fps. I've tried using SUPER to convert to MPG but I get the same results.
Is there no way to smooth out the conversion? Or is the jerkyness caused by something else?
