  1. hi guys, just wondering where in options is a setting to set the default location for "open folder" and "browse for folder" when looking for my dvd files. Seems to always open in the "VLC" folder.

    I'm not sure there is an option for that. (Just spent a few minutes wandering through 0.9.6's options...) However, you can also try this:

    Right-click on the shortcut for VLC, and click Properties. In the Shortcut tab, change the Start In: directory to whatever you prefer (or at least, something other than the VLC program directory), and click OK. Now, VLC should ideally open that directory by default, rather than its own directory.
    If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?
