    Hey guys,

I have been having this wierd problem with AVIDemux. The converted files go out of sync. The audio is by itself delayed by 1-2 seconds.

I used AVIDemux to append 3 VOB files, set the encoder as x265, added the filters, set the audio as "Copy", hit save, and saved the file as whatever.avi. After processing, the outcome is out of sync. Anyone know why this is happening and how to fix this?

    Thanks!

If the three VOB files are from the same DVD....is it MUCH better to let your ripping program rip them as one large file. The audio sync data travels along each VOB and are linked to each other. Taking just certain VOBs from discs often causes sync problems in editing software.....not just AviDemux.
Personally.....I would rip the entire DVD to one giant VOB with something like DVDDecrypter(if possible).....then edit and output.

DVDDecrypter rips the whole DVD's files on to my HDD. It doesn't give me one VOB file. You know how to rip it to one file?

File Splitting - NONE option under TOOLS - SETTINGS - IFO MODE.

Or use VOB2MPG to extract the title as a single mpg file and work with that

  6. If it's a simple delay use the Shift function in AviDemux.

I'll really need to try that app someday. I keep forgetting about it.

I just used a VOBJoiner to join the splitted VOB files. I will try that "No Splittin" settins next time .

Will report back with it later!
