I haven't really done anything with avisynth, but i was trying to test it out. After the script ran, i watched the video and i noticed that there was some blank space missing.
this is the video i was using(downloaded and converted to avi using youtube downloader):

the blank space at 0:09 is what's missing. should i just use something else to download/convert the video?

Did you use DirectShowSource()? Add ConvertFPS=true to the command.
DirectShowSource("filenname.flv", ConvertFPS=true) -
that worked. thank you very much. i rather doubt that i would have ever found that.
