    I am having trouble ripping a movie to my hard drive. I first tried Smart Ripper. The DVD first starts at ripping at about 2x and then it starts seeking the disk over and over again. The VOB files never finish copying. I also tested it in CladMdec and DVD Decrypter and get the same problem. The DVD is new. I have ripped many DVDs before without a hitch even older and scratched DVDs but I have had this problem a few other times with other movies too and I just give up and capture them.

    If you happen to have Windows2000 or WindowsXP, you must install ASPI Layer on your system for Smart Ripper to work correctly.
