How do authhor dvd for the following dvd player?

I created a dvd using avi2dvd but it won't play on Sony S560D with only a ch13 error displaying. It plays on the govideo vr2940 (that even plays pal video) and the Panasonic DVD-R56. It also plays on the LG RC700N but the video seems slightly larger than 16X9 making it a bit grainy. The dvd checks out as NSTC 16/9 and english according to ifo, what should I look for?

Sony players are picky with authoring and media,some won't play a DVD unless it is region 1.
From your posts the DVD files look fine but I would use ImgBurn in Build mode and use high quality DVD-R.
