Ok here goes. I'm using DVDx and TMPGEnc (avisynth way of doing it).
DVDx's output is 720x576 and when TMPGEnc starts, it's doing it in 360x576. And I followed the guide through and it told me to load SVCD PAL configuration. And that configuration has 360x576 locked. Is this right? Should it be done like this?
And anothing thing; When I later on us bbMPEG to split the file into 700mb files, I get an error on everyframe, tho the files are working (in 360x576 tho), the msg is: underflow >= DTS or PTS.
Another thing, should it take me 22hours just to rip the CD with DVDx and TMPGEnc??
Any help here would be appreciated.

dts & pts timestamp errors mean your bitrate is peaking too high(this may or may not cause async on your specific dvdplayer). you will never have a strictly compliant svcd without re-encoding, but xsvcd is still an option(set force mux rate to 0)
