    Hello,
I'm using FFCoder to convert some DV PAL 720x576 with Aspect Ratio 16:9 to MKV using libx264. I prefer FFCoder because it can get AviSynth as video source. The problem is I can't set the Aspect Ratio as the source.

In the Log of the converter, I get this:

    Code:
    raw [info]: 720x576i 0:0 @ 25/1 fps (cfr)
    x264 [info]: using cpu capabilities: MMX2 SSE2Fast SSSE3 Cache64
x264 [info]: profile High, level 3.2
How can I set the Aspect Ratio to 16:9 without resizing the video to 1024x576?

  2. I don't know about ffcoder but the x264 parameter is

    --sar 16:11
Look to see if there is a way to manually enter additional parameters. If you can't find a way, you can always remux with AR flags at the container level.

Yes. Highlight the video track, select the Format Specific Options tab, set the aspect ratio.
