burning help

I realy need some help. When I play my mpeg on my cpu it plays fine. But when I burn it and play it on my stand alone dvd player, it has a sudden pause about every 3 to 5 sec's. But the thing is it doesn't do it on every vcd that I make. Could it be my RAM, burner, etc....... Does any body know? My dvd player doesn't play cd-rw so that I can check them so Im kind of screwed hah! Im running 320 RAM and I have a 16x10x40 yamaha burner. If anybody has a sugestion fill free to let me know. Ill try anything! Im wasting alot of cd's

Try burning TRACk AT ONCE.

check to see if the mpeg files you are using are vcd compliant; if they aren't, ensure you turn OFF the standard compliancy in your burning software and/or burn it under svcd.
