I'm pretty new to burning dvds and my question is why, like, 1 inch or something like that cuts from top, bottom, sides when burned to dvd from the video.

	It's not cut off. If you watch the disc on your computer it is there. Your television is hiding it, as it does on your commercial DVDs and every television program you watch. It is called Overscan. You can read about it in the Glossary (link to your left under WHAT IS). 
 
 If you search the forums for Overscan you will find dozens of posts explaining how to encode with borders to push your image into the viewable area of your television.Read my blog here.
