There is a option in of animation in GFD, but I don't know how to use.
Can any one explain me/is there any tutorial to add (don't want to create newly) animation in GFD collected from dvd with the same options like - Play/chapters...?

I don't really use animated buttons or menu backgrounds myself. I only tried it as an experiment, so I can't be of much help to you.

There is a lot of detailed guidance, broken down by topics at http://download.videohelp.com/gfd/GUI_DVDauthor_eng_07.htm

In addition to borax's link, you might find the help you need at the following links from that page:
    http://download.videohelp.com/gfd/Help/ShortdescAnimMenus.html or http://download.videohelp.com/gfd/Help/MenuBackgroundDialog.html

I dont want to create my own, just use the existing animated menu of a the similar movie, is it possible in GFD?

And sorry for not to make clear my question...Let's describe below:
After start a dvd movie in TV/pc, the main manue appears in the display screen. From there, we select play/chapters, etc... in main menu, there may be a still image or animated pictures of that movie. In animated menu, slowly the play/chapters button appears, sometimes there may be music also...clear?

But now, I m just adding still image of a movie with GFD.
    How can I do that?

You are talking about motion menus. I believe GFD can author motion menus, but you have to create the videos first yourself in another application.

Once you have extract them you can load them into GFD as backgrounds, but you will have to define your own button areas and link them to your own assets. I don't use GFD, so I cannot give you specifics.

  9. ...clear?
No. Please describe it in more detail what you want.
...I dont want to waste time to create new motion menue.
Most times it is more work to analyze an existing menu to adapt/reuse it for an own movie than creating a new one...

    Guns1,
->Once you have extract them you can load them into GFD as backgrounds, but you will have to define your own button areas and link them to your own assets...ok no problem, I'll define myself. but how can I extract them(using which soft) & import as background & tell me which soft u use to that with tutorial.

I agree with borax. Adapting an existing motion menu for use with a different movie won't save you any work. It will more likely make for more work, and you may not be happy with the end product.

If you still want to pursue your original goal, all I can do is give you some suggestions that might help. Like I said, I don't use motion menus for my projects.

Do you want to re-use the menu without changing it at all? If so, you may be able to use a different approach and replace the movie. There is some information about that in this thread: https://forum.videohelp.com/topic351654.html

If you still want to use GFD or customize the menu, here are some hints:

The sequence where the buttons slowly appear may not actually be part of the menu. It could be a video that plays before the menu is displayed. (Like the "Intro Movie" section under the "Project" tab in the GFD "Default Settings" dialog window.) If so, you will have to look someplace other than VIDEO_TS.VOB to find it. You won't be able to customize an "Into Movie" using GFD, though you might be able to make it into a motion menu that could be customized.

Once you find out where the animation really is, extract the video. Try using a demultiplexer for that. It separates a VOB into its elementary audio and video files. You can then import those into GFD as motion menu assets or "Intro Movie" assets. I use Rejig and VOBEdit most of the time, but there are more good, free demultiplexers in the VideoHelp tools section.
