I currently capture files in Mpeg-2 format and am looking at switching to Mpeg-4. It seems that most of the software that I am finding is pretty basic and not what I need. I am just starting my search for a more robust software and figured I would put something up on here.

Does anybody know of a quality Mpeg-4 editor? Even something close to Adobe Premier would work.

    Thanks in advance.

Mpeg-4 is a highly compressed playback format that does not lend itself to editing -- especially frame-accurate cutting. That is why you are having a difficult time trying to find an editor for that format. You can try AviDemux: https://www.videohelp.com/tools/AviDemux but I can't guarantee anything.
