  1. i ripped the audio a '.avi' file about 690 mb big, using virtual dub....the out put wav file was about 1.3 gigs. So then the mpeg out put was about 1.3 gigs..... my question is, is there anyway to convert divx to mpeg keeping roughly the same file size?

also, is there anyway to change the burner speed on VCDeasy?i have iomega650-4x

and, is there anyway to 're-sync' the sound without reprocessing the file for 12 hours? this movie(divx) plays the sound exactly 200 milliseconds before the video is displayed.

    thank you

Open the file in virtual dub. Set both the audio and video to Direct Stream Copy. Go to Audio...Interleave and enter 200 in the "Delay audio track by ms" box, then save your file as a new AVI. Ssice you aren't doing any heavy work on audio or video, VDub will move along very rapidly.

As always, abort the process after a short time and play the file that was generated to check it out. If all looks good, run the entire process and you should be good.
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."
