Look to the left under the CONVERT section.

Or to another way would be to use DVD2AVI and frameserve it into TMPG

  3. umm look to the left of what? are u referin to TMPGEnc?

    k , this is what i try:

    1) i take the svcd .dat file and convert to .mpeg usin vcdgear
    2) then i open up TMPGEnc (2.5)
    3) Goto File-MPEG Tools
    4) Goto to multiplex
    5) Switch Type to: MPEG-1 Video CD
    6) Add the file i converted (the .mpeg). When i add it, the mpeg video layer has the followin: MPEG-2 Video 480x480 29.79fps 2450kbp. and the mpeg audio layer has the followin: MPEG-1 Audio Layer-2 44100Hz 224kbps
    7) then i click run. the out puttd file should have the video/audio in sync right? well its not =/ and the video is still chompy.

    What am i doin wrong?

You don't convert when multiplexing to vcd you just make some strange svcd format burnt in vcd mode and that may not work properly in many players. Are you sure that the audio source is in 44 khz also because if it is in 48 khz and multiplexing to 44(just changing the audio headers) may cause sync problems...I think

  6. sell your dvdplayer & buy one that you really want(ebay springs to mind). you'll take a loss(or you may not), but i'd sooner castrate myself than convert my svcd to vcd
