    I don't know if this is the right thread name or board, but here goes. Ok. I'm no noob at video editing/encoding etc, but I have one quick question:

    I play online and I record my matches and upload them to YouTube. Now, this kay sound weird, but I want my videos to look like this.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aEtdcnaeiBw

    My video:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYWT8QUiUR8

    Now, this may sound weird, but at 00:23, the air fireball looks cool. the way some moves are rendered on that video look great. I have no idea how the video is encoded or what the frame rate is etc, but I want my videos to look like that. What I mean is, what steps would I take to make my videos look like that match? I think its something to do with frames or colour, but I would appreciate if someone could help me get my videos that kinda cool look!

    It's hard to explain;

    The first video was captured using a capture card. My video was made using Fraps to record my Emulator. The color and even the border of the videos are different. The way things are rendered and look are totally different of the two videos, mainly the way the "fireballs" look, my main area of fascination. I may sound like a weirdo wanting to render my videos in such a way that the fireballs look different, lol. I want my videos to contain the look of a video that was captured via a capture card. I have no idea what it is that makes the first video so, I just want my videos to look like the first one, period

    Your video is taken from an emulator. Are you sure the emulator is producing the same effects as the original ?

    Yes, 100% sure. The emulator is perfectly imitating an arcade machine, just like the first video
