Some newbie questions about sirius

I am needing to become a sirius subscriber because Rosie O'Donnell is more than likely
going to have a program. I am a huge fan and if she goes there, so will I.

I am looking at the new stiletto 2 portable.

Now, I am not needing reception in the car. I just need the radio reception in my house. I have wireless internet and HIGH internet connection (if that matters).

I am ALSO wanting to record and save her program for private use so please explain how I might go about doing that.

Now, do I need a home kit to get reception? or does having the wireless make it possible to connect? Please explain how this works. I am a fast learner, I just need good teachers.

Her show could be happening fairly quick, so I want to be ready. Please help me ASAP.

Also, are you able to take your songs you save from the radio and import them to your PC to save to a disc?

You can just use your computer and listen online, no receiver needed. The stiletto2 is not worth it. Its only good if you want to use it outside. Rosie was on Stern this week, he said do a show on one of my channels, she said ok. But it was at the end of the interview, almost like saying stop by anytime. It could just be hot air.

Subscribe to newsgroups and go to alt.binaries.howard-stern.

There you will see posts on how to record using free programs and how to drop commercials, etc. You probably will see posts of the actual program shortly after it airs as they do with other programs. You will see all you ever wanted to know about it and how to than you ever wanted to know.

Can you record sirius radio online with Replay A/V8 program without having a stilletto? Would I still need a home kit?

As I said, go to the newsgroup alt.binaries.howard-stern. All your questions are answered there. If you have internet access, you can get there. It is free. They currently have a demo on how to do it using Replay AV. Many there use Replay AV. They also use Audacity. I can't tell you the details because I have no interest in doing it but I see the postings on it all the time. They use it to record the Stern Show, Bubba's show with and without commercials. I am sure that if and when Rosie does a show on Sterns channels, it will be posted there just as all the others are. I also believe I read that if you subscribe to Sirius Satellite, you can also download from their site free. You can also get the Stern show that had Rosie call in and you can hear their whole dialogue.
