when i burn onto a dual layer dvd disc there is major freezing of the movie between the two layers how can i prevent this

1) Use better media. If you aren't using Verbatim DVD+R DL discs, you wasted your money.
2) Burn with ImgBurn (it's free, so you have no excuse).
3) Buy another DVD player as with some models, even if you do #1 and #2 you won't be able to stop this. I've even seen some players that will freeze on the layer change with commercially pressed discs. -
What model DVD burner do you have? I have a Pioneer DVR-115D exclusively for double layer DVD burning. Best $35 ever invested.
