I'm having a lot of problems with Cinematize not properly synching the sound to the video. I'm converting both home-authored discs and excerpts from some commercial discs. It's starting happening pretty regularly and I'm not sure why this sudden change in software that's always done well for me.

Has someone got a fix for this?

There is info about audio syncing in the Miraizon site's FAQs. Are you using Cinematize 2? What format are you exporting to?

The only thing I can find on the site is that there is info on settings in Chapter 10 of the user's manual. But I don't have the user's manual and can't find where to download it on the Miraizon site.

    Anyone know?

There's this FAQ on the Miraizon site. http://miraizon.com/support/faq.html#3sync

Okay. I think this one applies to me:

    Poorly encoded MPEG video
This can fool Cinematize's default automatic decode mode selection. Manually selecting the correct decoding mode should fix the problem.

BUT...what does manually selecting the correct decoding mode mean? What decoding mode? Manually selecting progressive pulldown/film/video? How do I know which to choose?

Or...is there a utility that can fix poorly encoded MPEG video?
