Hello, I recently obtained a .ram video file(had to obtain the real media alternative codecs, It is playable on my PC) And would like to encode it to psp format, or any other format to then convert to PSP. The only problem is I can't find any that'll do the job.
Are there any freeware converters?

You can convert to avi then to psp using any psp converter like pspvc. See https://forum.videohelp.com/topic349190.html?highlight=real%20media for some methods(online using www.zamzar.com seems easiest).

When I upload the .ram, I only see audio outputs for it.
Edit: I also see mp4, I'll get back to you and see how it works -
Yeah, that converter didn't do anything. The uploading hanged both times i tried to re-upload.

Are you sure the .ram video you have is the actual video? Normally, .ram files are only supposed to be pointers to the actual video's location on the net. (This could also explain why the online converter seemed to 'hang' - it might not know to parse the .ram and grab the video from its actual location, if the .ram file is indeed just a pointer file.) What size is the .ram?

The .ram is a video file(I've played it in Media Player Classic) And it's 251 mb.

Theoretically, if you have Real Alternative installed and hand a .ram pointer file to Media Player Classic, it should still retrieve the movie, anyway.
But yes, that is indeed a video file.
I'm not sure why the online converter is 'crashing' on the file... I checked (if it's the zamzar.com converter Baldrick linked to above), and it does at least seem to support the old Real formats (.ra/.rm) as input. (Don't remember about the newer Real formats, like .rmvb) Maybe renaming the file extension from .ram to .rm might help... but I couldn't be sure.
To be honest, I'd be more inclined to use an offline converter than an online converter... though I don't know what would be best for converting .ram/.rm to anything, as I haven't really tried to do that in years.
Edit: I think EO Video is supposed to work, but as I mentioned above, I haven't tried it. Another thing that might have thrown the online converter could well be the size of the file...If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them? -
Just my $1.99:
All my "RealMedia2Anything" conversions have been done this way:
RealMedia file ---> (RealAlternative + Avisynth) ---> encoder .
I still am not aware of methods less complicated to deal with RealNetworks's stuff ---
--- probably because they haven't been discovered/invented yet.
