Hi,
I know how to pull the audio ac3 files from a DVD, English, director's commentary, etc. I want to know if there is a way to separate all the tracks in the surround sound ac3 file. I want the center channel only. Is there a way to grab that channel of audio only (I'm looking for just the dialogue)?
Thanks,
KK

Yes, but most audio editors cannot import ac3 directly, so you have to convert the ac3 audio => .wav
A free way to do it would be using foobar2000 (with the ac3 plugin, google it) to convert to .wav. Then open your .wav in audacity, and you will see 6 channels. You can delete the other 5 and export it as .wav or .mp3
Cheers
