I'm trying to rip a Blu-Ray movie using RipBot. I'd like to get it with surround sound.

I have tried to set the audio track to x.x COPY STREAM and to 5.1 AAC 256 kbps.

On my most recent attempt, when I set it to x.x COPY STREAM, I tried to play the file in Arcsoft.

It says the compression is DOLBY_AC3 but there are only 2 audio channels.

Anybody with an idea of where I'm going wrong? Thanks in advance for any help.

Interestingly, if I open the file with VLC and look at the codec information, for Audio it says 3F2R/LFE. Does that mean I do have surround sound? And if so, why isn't Arcsoft picking it up? Thanks!

Yep, it's 5.1 as ripbot264 should just copy the audio. CHeck also with mediainfo. I wouldn't trust what arcsoft says.
