  1. Ok I recieved this email saying you can copy a video to dvd format with with only just a regular cd-r writer, and some "special program"

    does anyone know how this works and if it's for real?

  2. Its more than 99.9% a ripoff. They probably put together a bunch of programs you can get here and copied guides that you can get here and are selling them as there own.

  3. I doubt it's even anything but a poorly photocopied bunch of papers explaining the dvd specification. Anyone that loses their money to it deserves to.

  4. Somebody on another board bought one of these e-mail ripoffs and it was just TMPGEnc on a floppy and photocopied guide to making (s)vcd backups......

  5. IT'S A RIPOFF. They are BS. you cant simply rip a dvd to cdr. Its like saying with my device you can put a gallon of water, in a quart.
