Hi I was wondering what is an easy way to make a long clip of movies like the game Scene It? I figure you can use some program like TMPGenc to put together the dvd in the end with the different movie clips, pictures, and audio files, but I wasn't sure how to get a small portion of a dvd into an .avi or .mpeg2 file. thanks!

Lots of ways. You could use VirtualDub Mod and extract from one of the VOBs and convert to a Xvid or other AVI type format. Or DVD Shrink can cut out a clip, then you could convert it the AVI type formats. Or leave it as MPEG-2. Or you could extract the whole DVD to a MPEG-2 with VOB2MPEG. You may have to decrypt the DVD first before any of this. DVDFab HD Decrypter should be able to do this.
That's just a few suggestions. -
Ok cool thanks. I like the DVD Shrink method to get the part of the clip since that seems to be pretty easy. But how do I get the VOB to avi? I tried searching in the convert guides dropdown menu, but I didn't see anything. If I don't have the 2.0 framework and cannot use vob2mpeg, are there any alternatives? Thanks!

Use VirtualDub Mod as mentioned. It can open VOBs, then you can convert them to AVI type formats.
