My equipment:
Sony D8 + ieee1394 with XP default TI driver
Captured PAL with either Virtualdub, MS Video or Premiere 6
Result
The captured videos play OK except for fast moving object like walking people or moving things. The background look flashing during camera panning.
I believe this is nothing to do with interlaced video. Swap/ deinterlace / almost all method of deinterlaced.
The `flashing video' then encode with TMPEG and play with mild stoboscopic effect on standalones.
SVCD either interlaced or deinterlaced - all with the same problem.
Is it because of D8 camera?
