    Hi
    I have been trying with lots of deinterlacers but still cannot find the perfect one...
    Right now the video is not interlaced but the people's movement in this deinterlaced video does not look that smooth or natural moving ...

    I upload part of my video here and hope someone can clarify me what I need to do instead... it is NTSC interlaced but I might be wrong...
    link: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?ynnthzzdoiy

    btw the renderinng for deinterlacing took me sooooo long...is there other way to improve the quality and speed as well?

    This is what I wrote for my avs

    DGDecode_mpeg2source("C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Desktop\all chapters 123\ryo.d2v")
    edeintted = AssumeTFF().SeparateFields().SelectEven().EEDI2(fi eld=-1)
    tdeintted = TDeint(edeint=edeintted,order=1)
    tfm(clip2=tdeintted).tdecimate(hybrid=3)
    TDecimate(cycleR=1)
    TextSub("C:\TDDOWNLOAD\[DVD] Making of NYC PV.ass")
    LanczosResize(960,540)

    Please help me out ><

  2. I don't know how and why you came up with that script, but what's the final framerate you get with that mess? 23.976fps? It's standard interlaced video and after deinterlacing it should be 29.97fps. You shouldn't be using either TFM or TDecimate with that source, and you're using TDecimate twice.

    And I don't know why you're upscaling the thing either. Is there a reason?

    As for the speed, if you want fast, just deinterlace it with Yadif.

  3. And if you want good deinterlacing use TempGaussMC_beta1().

    yadif.avi

    tguass.avi
