    So I'm trying to stream DVD to my PS3, after ripping with DVD decrypter I get movie vob which I rename to mpg and the stream works, but there's no option to turn on subs on PS3. So, how do I rip the movie with subs permanently on? TIA.

    You cannot just use dvd decrypter if you want permanent subtitles in the mpg/vob as it requires that you reconvert the video. I would probably rip the dvd to avi divx/xvid using autogk or fairuse wizard.
