Friends cd player cant read the media properly, not all cd devices will play all burned cd's due to how they read different media brands.

What speed are you burning the media at ??

I have had a lot of problems with cd-r media playing on car stereo's when burned at a high speed.....
i usually keep it to 16X at most, and when friends have had the same problem, i tell them the same thing, they reburn at a lower speed, 16X or less, and it plays.

There have been a lot of other's here that have said the same thing..... and what's the diff. between burning an audio cd-r at 52X or 16X ?? 60 seconds ??

Did you burn to CD-RW by any chance? Many car CD players won't play CD-RW discs.

Knowing what brand of media you used might also be important. Some brands are better than others.
