I demuxed the .TS with tsMuxeR and got a .dts audio file along with the video. Encoding the .mpv into h.264 worked fine with MeGUI, but muxing it together with the .dts sound into a .mkv using mkvmerge just kept giving me warnings "Warning: dts_packetizer: skipping 3 bytes (no valid DTS header found). This might make audio/video go out of sync, but this stream is damaged." and then ultimately stopped.
I then tried to use gdsmux (aka: DS Mux, Haali Media Splitter) instead, but it wouldn't accept the .dts audio, giving me this "Can't open file: No combination of intermediate filters could be found to make the connection."
Lastly I tried MeGUI's mkv muxer but it would just go to 28% where it stopped and nothing more happened.
I really need someone to help me to get this to work (to create a .mkv with both the h264 video and the audio in it), although it does feel as if something is wrong with my .dts audio file, maybe I should re-extract the .ts audio in some other way to make it work?
