hi, im using the latest divx codec and divx convertor.

at the momment the divx convertor only goes up to the high def profile and not the HD profiles which are included in the latest codec.

Is there anyway to update divx convertor so i can use them? or do i have to do it manually though virtualdub, because i dont like the looks of all the config options, had a look at the divx guide but im still unsure what settings to use in vdub.

    got a hd source 1920x1080

The latest version (v6.1) supports the latest codec. You need to update the converter.

If you have the commercial Divx codec, Dr. Divx is really superior to Divx Converter. I recommend Divx Converter only to people who are unwilling to use anything but a 1 click solution and are willing to live with the fact that the Divx Converter gives you no control at all over the output. If you want to record HD Divx files, do yourself a favor and ditch Divx Converter in favor of Dr. Divx.
