  1. Is there a handy prog to split an 1,6 GB FILE made in Tmpeg movie.mpg

i want to split it to fit 80min cdr.

I know that i could use bbmpeg, but the sound & audio is already multiplexed by tmpeg.

  2. Tmpeg can split them for you, just go thru the menu to find the option.

if you use variable bitrate you cant know exact where to cut...so you have to guess. the best would be to demultiplex and use bbmpeg.

  6. I theory if your final mpg is 1.6 GB you'd have something like 2 800MB mpg's. I think that'll be tricky to fit on 2 80 mins cd's
