Hello all!
Just recently gor IPTV and I don't know a thing about it. Now the thing is I get my tv feed from my ISP on-to my PC via a network card, and I watch the feed via VLC player. I also got a program called IPTV Recorder, thats an addon to VLC so that I can record the video feed. But I don't know what type of file to pick, so I would like to know what is the best output format for IPTV recording?
This is wat I have at my disposal:
MPEG-TS
MPEG-PS
MPEG-ES
MPEG-1
MPEG-4
AVI
OGM
ASF
MOV
So could someone tell me witch of these is better for my video capturing?
Tnx in advance,
shorto
P.S. I forgot to mention if this has anything to do with it. The resulutions are different from 1080p to 720i...

I would try MPEG-TS to just save the stream, don't reconvert to any other video codec.

And moving you to our digitaltv/dvb section as iptv is digitaltv.

what would you recommend if i want to cut-out the commercials and convert the video to .avi using xvid codec? Should i use MPEG-PS if I want to do that?
