I have a single burner and I do not know how to seperate the set into 2 discs.
Is there any free ware out there or can I just re label the VTS files?
Can someone please give me advice.

    Thanks

You could re-compress the show to fit on a single layer disc. There is this quite fast process called requantizing to do so. DVD2OneX is made just for this. Also Toast's Fit-To-DVD option does this. Neither is freeware.

You could split the show in two parts. MPEG Streamclip can do that for continuous video. You'll lose the menus and such and have to author it as DVD again. The app is free, but it needs a $20 QuickTime component to read MPEG-2 video.

Re-labeling the VTS files won't give you a valid DVD. The structure is a bit more complicated than that.

You could rename the vobs as mpgs and give enough to fill a disc to Tele2DVD. It will make an image very quickly. You will not have a menu that way.
