Hello,
plz help me.. i'm using snazzi dv avio pro for real time capturing from VHS movies..
butt i face problem when i capture MPEG 2 dvd qaulity 6000 mbs.. when i play captured movie the movie pixels are destroy...
now i am using 3rd party software honestechTVR2.5 in this software pixels are smooth but movie caputer time is in limit only 15 minutes on one clip plz tell me what can i do for this problem....

I haven't bought a Dazzle product in years. Not since they stopped making the DVC II. What I would do with the card is this:
1)Record in MPEG-2 at a constant bit rate of 8100 Kbps. Record the audio at 254 Kbps or more if you wish.
2)Use DVD2AVI (freeware) to create a D2V file from the file you recorded.
Use VFAPIConv (freeware) to convert this file.
3) Use HC encoder (freeware) to re-encode from the D2V VFAPIConv generates and set the bit rate to 6000 or whatever you like. You will have to mux the final video that HC produces with the audio stream from your original video file.

Please don't make me regret answering your question by asking me for a step by step guide. You can do the research yourself to see how to use DVD2AVI, VFAPIConv and HC.

I know nothing about your capture card, so if the recording software that comes with it is crap, there is nothing we can do about that. I assume if you bought the honestetch software that you could use it for more than 15 minutes of video.

i have registerd version of honestetch but this software caputre on 15 minutes clip.. plz help me any body...
