This particular clip was a VOB etc. that I extracted myself using SHRINK. Shrink itself can play this clip o.k..
I already tried GOM Player (but maybe not the absolute latest version . . . ) and the answer there was NO.

All software players can play pal. It must be something else, does gom player include a dvd/mpeg2 decoder for example?
Try use vlc media Player, media player classic or kmplayer instead. -
Thanks a lot, Baldrick. You were right: it must be a limitation of Gom. I should have tried VLC first. No problem playing it there. It seems like a good idea to keep at least 2 or 3 players installed, for cross-checking purposes, as long as each can be kept from exclusively grabbing all the media file associations, as they often try to do when you install them.Originally Posted by BaldrickWhen in Las Vegas, don't miss the Pinball Hall of Fame Museum http://www.pinballmuseum.org/ -- with over 150 tables from 6+ decades of this quintessentially American art form.
