Have some downloaded avi's on my system, when I'm finished dong whatever with them, they get deleted.
When I delete them I get the error, see below.
Haali Media Splitter
1. Error: can't open file: the process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process
2. Error: can't open file: the system cannot find the file specified
Sometimes I get both errors, other times I get #2
Can anyone tell me whats going on, and how to solve or get rid of these errors.
A Big Thanks!

Probably some thumbnail preview problem in windows. You can try disable it by click on Start -> Run and then type
regsvr32 /u shmedia.dll
To enable it again you just type
regsvr32 shmedia.dll
But do you need haali media splitter? Are you playing any mp4 or mkv? if no then you can uninstall haali media splitter. If you need it try (re)install the latest haali media splitter. -
I reinstalled the new version, it took care of the problem.
Thanks!
