Gabest MP4 splitter vs. Haali Media Splitter

Which one is most reliable (stable) and which one supports most versions of Apple's MOV container format?

Noticed that atleast BSPlayer doesn't like Haali Splitter. Player crashes when moving movie window to extended desktop and back. Don't know if this is already fixed in most newer versions.

Gabest splitter can't split i.e. chapters from file. Gabest splitters seems to be very stable.

A little update, recently got a mov file with IMA ADPCM audio,
which isn't supported even with latest Haalia 20091219.

I have explicitly set not to use Haalia, but it's forced anyway
I can only get the audio by uninstall Haalia, what a pain...

I have a mpg file that include only single video stream and single audio stream.
Here is the result that I get from MediaInfo tool for this file (http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/)

First video stream
1 150 Kbps, 352*240 (4:3), at 29.970 fps, MPEG Video (NTSC) (Version 1) (BVOP)

First audio stream
224 Kbps, 44.1 KHz, 2 channels, MPEG Audio (Version 1) (Layer 2)

But when I open this mpg file in Windows media player ver 10, Haali Splitter is Loaded and the file can only play about one second then stop.
When I disable Halli MPEG (PS) Splitter, the file can play well in full length.
I'm enable Haali MPEG (PS) Splitter because it is required to play some other mpg file that include multiple audio stream.

I'm not sure what is my problem. I would like to try Gabest splitter. But I don't where can I get Gabest splitter and how to install as WMP plugin.
Is there anyone who can guide me?

Also, and if you're not afraid of messing around with the Windows Registry,
you could give a try to the filter "MpegSplitter.ax". After registering it with regsvr32.exe,
you'd better also let the default File Source filter "open" the .ts and .m2ts files and
"send" these to MpegSplitter.ax :
