  1. TMPGenc gets the audio out of sync every time, always at the end of the first mpg. I joined them with a generic MPG joiner, and it plays fine in PowerDVD, but Spruce only loads in the first piece of it as though it had never been joined. For some stupid reason, Spruce won't let movies play continuously, so if I just import all four files, you will be taken back to a menu at the end of each one when trying to watch the movie.

  2. i know this sounds quite long winded but i am a newbie and i had a brain wave so i tried it and it worked perfectly the first time!!!!!!

first de multiplex the sound from the video using TMPEGEnc then get rid of the video files and use a program called twins file merger to join all the .mp2 files together (before its registered it will only allow 2 file at a time to be joined). this will give you the full length movie sound....

Then join all 4 mpegs of the movie in TMPEGEnc so it will be the full movie but the sound will be out of sync.

simply demultiplex the whole movie again and delete the mp2 file it creates then rename your .m2v (video) file to the same as your .mp2 (sound) file and perform a simple multiplex using the svcd (vbr) preset

And there you go ....perfect quality video and sound all in sync (This was all done on my AMD-k62 500 with 196m RAM so anyone with a faster computer it sould be alot faster for)....

HOPE THIS HELPS....... I am off to watch my perfect quality svhs version of this magnificant film now so see you soon
