I have two questions:
Will Webroot Spysweeper 5.5 work ok with Vista 64?
Other than Symantec stuff is there a firewall that will work with Vista 64?

Presently I am using the Beta version of Comodo firewall. It works well, but is a little annoying while it learns my system.
Prior to this I used the one built into Vista, which is decent but didn't always leave me feeling confident, I like to know what's trying to exit my system without my permission.
I have also used Sphynx Free Firewall but I don't remember why I stopped.

I don't know about SpySweep, but I use the latest freeware version of Zone Alarm firewall. It works great with Vista. The Vista firewall is all but useless. It blocks 'zero' outgoing packets.
This leaves you wide open if you have spyware or malware that 'phones home'.
ZA: http://www.zonealarm.com/store/content/company/products/znalm/freeDownload.jsp Then check the box near the bottom that says 'I only want basic ZoneAlarm protection' and you can download the freeware firewall. I will likely purchase the full version also as it's still the only decent Vista firewall, IMO.
But I have Vista32. I don't know how it works with V64. You may have to look around their site to check compatibility or ask them.
