    Does anyone out there have a PS3 preset for FFMPEGX that actually works?!? I'd LOVE a copy of it if possible.

    I've been trying for WEEKS to convert various AVI files with mixed results and it's driving me insane.

    PLEASE someone help me! I'd really appreciate it!!

    what works for me is just converting files to "H264 X264" and setting the AVC level to 4.0 (and additional, decode with quicktime sans letterbox), and audio to either mp3 or ac3. i've never had a bad one or a dud with those settings, regardless of filesize or originating file type.
