  1. I have tried to burn a movie in mpg-format to a CD with the help of Nero Burning Rom 5.5.5.6.

The movie is roughly 750 MB large but has a timespan of 70 minutes, it should therefore fit on an ordinary 74 minutes disk. I have tried that but I have also tried with a 80 minute disk (both of them Read/Write). In Preferences I have on the Expert Feature menue checked out the box for "Show all compilation types" and I have enabled overburn. I have run a Disk at Once and I have checked the option "Finalize".

The session starts off and everything runs smoothly until the very end and then it fails with the following message:

    Invalid writestate.
Could not perform end of Disk at Once.
    Burn process failed.

What error do I make? Help is much appreciated.

    Thanx in advance

Just two questions: In the expert features section; did you change the maximum cd lenght?
    Does your writer support overburning?

  3. Thanx for the tip. It seems that you hit upon the spot.

I found out the the driver I have for my Lite-On LTR-12101B is too old to support overburning. I need to get hold of an update there. I'll do that and then I'll try again and see if I will succeed.
