OK I have a joycoder pv-330 portable dvr it records from tv and anything else with a video output. What i am wanting to do is strore my video files on this thing, my problem is everything that is recorded on the device is in avi format 320X240 with a 256kbps bit rate, with video compression XVID Now i can move the files back and forth from the the dvr to computer and i can take from from device and do anything i want to with the files, same as with all my other video files of which i own. Now when i right click and check properties then check summary it gives me my image info (width=320/height=240 and audio duration/bitrate=256kbps/sample size=16bit/format PCM) but under video it only shows video compression XVID......Now when i convert my other videos to the same specs and send them to the same folder where i pull the files the recorder saves they wont play????? Now on the new files when i check properties and click summary i get the same info as above mentioned but under video it also gives me (frame rate= 25 frames/second and data rate=78kbps, and video sample size =12bit) evreything looks to be the same the only difference is in my converted files i have more info.....does this have something to do with how the dvr records can anyone explain what i'm missing here???? thank you. i have MovAvi video converter 5.5, which pretty much allows u to do anything converting wise with your files you can think of, if you know what your doing???.which is where my problem is..lol.. i can convert videos for my PSP, my pocket PC, my ipod, even my girlfreinds cell phone. i can not for the life of me convert any of my files to play on this device....... i dont pretend to know what im doing im just figureing it out as i go, but this one has me stummped. thank you
