Hi. A friend of mine sent me this link for vlite.net. It suppose to eliminate all those componets Visa has and make it faster. Just curious, has anyone tried this. I want to know since I'm going to reformat my pc (I do it every 6 months or so). Thanks

This is an update of nLite (for XP and 2k).

See the msfn forum for discussion of this.

nLite works quite well for XP and 2K, and I suspect vLite should work equally well for Vista.

  4. I have used the XP version (nlite) for my installs for years now, & it really works well getting rid of unwanted/never used parts of the OS. Before dabbling, it's important to check out the vlite forum to understand exactly what it does & what stuff you can & cannot/shouldn't remove.
