Final Cut Pro has two favored OUTPUT Choices for DVD
one is the built in COMPRESSOR
the other is using a third party MPEG-2 plugin package (like digigami)
you make MPEG-2 output with companion Audio (ac3, mpeg or pcm)
if you use a plug in will follow the Quick Time export and show up there -
or export DV format and use iDVD for a quick DVD if you don't want to learn all the pro tools..
Okay, I want to use the Pro Tools, but what are they, how .. etc...
I can export to DV, but its too big, lets then 12 min get on 1 dvd, so what can i do to compress this to dvd without lossing quality...
Thanks

read this:

You'll need to compress it to MPEG2 before putting it on DVD.
Do you have DVD Studio Pro? Use that? or iDVD Read the manuals and let us know when you have a problem.
Here's a list of tools but they're PC: DVD-Lab is great for the money
