hi i have sony dvd player old one which does not support dvix or xvid.
the model is dvp - ns575p
so can i play mp4 format files on it.
file name.DVDRip.x264-Hcn.mp4
this is the extract without naming the files name.

No, it doesn't support any x264 / h264 / avc. Very few dvd players supports h264.

also does ps3 support it
