I'm not much of a PC gamer since most of my PC's to date have been rather inexpensive ones and thus not capable of playing the most recent games due to lack of power/graphics/ram/everything. However I just purchased a new laptop that is capable of playing newer games and so I decided to go out and purchase a gamepad as well. I purchased the Logitech Chillstream, but when going to use it in games I figured out that I had to manually enter the functions of each button in every game that I wanted to use it with, which is both time consuming and I often set it up wrong. Is there an easy way of doing this? Is it the controller thats the problem, do other controllers have this flaw aswell? Or is it the games, tried about five already and they are all the same, or maybe Windows Vista?
Anyways any help is always much appreciated.
Thanks.

Back when I was using gravis gamepads they had preset configurations for many games. (I use a logitech gamepad now but not that often so its not much of an issue for me).
Check out the company website for preset configurations for the games your looking to use. I'm sure there is something available. (by the way is there something wrong with the default game settings or are you just used to tweaking all the settings???)Donatello - The Shredder? Many gamepad makers have configuration files on their sites that you can dowload and install/save on your PC.

Logitech's patented ChillStream technology includes a built-in 40 mm fan that circulates up to 3.41 cubic feet of air every minute ... well , that means they have the coolest , dont it ... or a dustbuster ... lmgo
Gravis gamepads ... what fun they were ... not ... but they did come with game configuration software , which allowed updates to support newer titles .
Still think in was made for left handed users ... drove me nutts in ms flight sim ... crash and burn ... ya looser .

Wonder if the device would work with the game setup app that came with the gravis game pad ???
