Hi Gurus,
I have a question regarding the extraction of the audio channel(s) from a .rm clip. Using RiverPast, it says I need the Real Alternative download. Tried it. Still no difference. I have used Riverpast audio converter successfully on other rm files but not this one. The files themselves are downloads from ArsDigita. These are free video downloads of various academic subjects. Could this be some form of "copy protection" perhaps?
Just want to listen to the audio in my mp3 player while I drive into work.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike

try the surestream beta from
http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=86264 -
Thank you for the response.
I downloaded the zip and tried the gui. Using merge, I was able to end up with about a 20MB audio stream from the 175MB media file. And separately selecting only the video stream resulting in ~ 155 MB video stream so I think I have made progress. My source of confusion from here is what format is this audio stream ? Surestream? What extension should it use? Can I then use another tool to convert to MP3 so my MP3 player will recognize it?
Thanks!
Mike
