  1. Hey, i just completed my first dvd rip, I did JP2 with the SVCD guide at http://www.dvdripguides.com. In my 2nd and 3rd disk, about 10 minutes through, the picture gets dirtorted and the tv starts making weird beeping sounds. Anyone can help me?

  3. #1 fastest burning speed should be 4X

    #2 if you use cheap ass CD-R media, u may get blocks...try burning again with better media (certain dvd players are really picky about which type of CD-R u use)

    #3 what standalone dvd player u using...make sure your dvd player can support SVCDs (and at what bitrate)...check this site to see if your dvd player can support SVCD

    #4 can you watch your SVCD rip on your computer perfectly...if you get the same problems...then it could be that the vobs you ripped weren't good

  4. #1- I did burn at 4x
    #2- I used Verbatim Media, which are preety good CD-R's
    #3- APEX AV-800, does suppport SVCD's
    #4- Looks good on CPU, then how can the VOB's be bad, the
    DVD wasn't scratched or anything, so what would make
    them "bad"
