    I remember a long time ago when I used Roxio XX don't remember which version, that I can merge two tracks and fade in one and fade out the other. Is there a simple program like this around. Thanks

    All I wan to do is mix a cd and fade in each song when it starts the other. Thanks

    Acoustica MP3 CD Burner has a fade function that allows you to do just that. Try it and buy it if it fits the bill.

    I use Audacity. It's freeware - do a Google search. Very easy to use & I believe you would be able to do a cross-fade like you describe.
