SimpleDivX replacement

im new to converting dvd to divx, i looked over this site and found a guide for SimpleDivX, i followed the guide word for word and i cant convert them, its useless, no matter what i do what options i pick soon as i click on tab 8 or 9 the stupid thing gives me an error and shuts down the app.

ive clicked ok and cancel when the error pops up and it still happens, even if i use all the default settings the same thing happens.

is there anything as simple but actually WORKS.

movie is welcome to the jungle, SimpleDivX is 1.4.0.23 and tried the update.

hmm actually upon further testing, its fine if i dont touch tab 7 (project).

AutoGK or AVI.net are both simple to use and do a good job.
